Centering Prayer Meditation Connection to the Universal Energy
It is natural to assume and perceive ourselves to be stationary when sitting down reading this, however, at a cosmic and molecular level, that is actually not the case at all. We may not sense the rotation of the Earth revolution around the Sun, but all the planets and galaxies are in motion and being pulled by the gravitational force. The universe has been expanding ever since the Big Bang. Likewise, molecular atoms are constantly in motion and vibration. So what we perceive as solid matter is not in fact solid, their speed of movement is so fast that we cannot see nor feel it.
Silent meditation enables you to still your mind and spirit whilst reconnecting yourself to the Universal flow of energy. When you are consciously syncing yourself with the Universal Energy, it can scan your body and realign anything that is out of alignment that we are not aware of.
Most importantly, there is a reason why all spiritual teachers and paths promote the practice of meditation. Listed below are just the few benefits of practicing stillness that researchers have found. As well as, selected verses from the Bible and Quran that mention the practice of meditation:
